Searching for your dream home? There’s an app for that. Looking for a reverse ranch on 2.5 acres with a 3 car garage and a pool? There’s a filter for that. Today’s technology has given us the ability to narrow down our search to the finest details but, when it comes to accessibility, options are lacking. Berkshire Hathaway Stein & Summers and REALTOR®, Kenton Randolph are currently working with Heartland MLS to change that.
With the new updates to the Heartland MLS, spearheaded by Randolph, it now allows new input and searching fields. This will better define and describe a verified accessible property for those needing specific features. Accessibility search will include: bathroom, bedroom, entrance, door, kitchen, smart technology, stair lift, and customized wheelchair access.
“I really feel like this is the start of something very positive that has been underserved in our communities. We’re hoping this helps correct that. As more and more people choose to age in place, this will be a great tool to help find their forever home”, states Randolph.
Randolph has over 21 years of expertise on mobility and how it relates to accessible living needs, age-in-place housing, ADA-compliant designs, and universal design environments. As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and Assistive Technology Specialist at BHHS Stein & Summers, Kenton has specialized training and skills to make sure his clients receive unmatched solutions with each individual’s best interest in mind. He focuses on helping people that require assistive technology, and seniors find housing that meets their individualized needs.HOME AGENTS Featured Listings Sold Listings All Listings Sell My Home Home Evaluation COMMERCIAL Saint Joseph Savannah Country Club Kansas City Platte City Smithville Gladstone Cameron Elwood Atchison About Us Contact Us Reviews
